Ron Lipton, founder of R. J. Lipton Engineering, is a Florida licensed building inspector, insurance adjuster and real estate agent. Ron is also a commercial pilot, remote pilot, flight instructor & computer systems engineer. Ron began his training in Wind Mitigation techniques back in 2006 when the Legislature created the Florida Comprehensive Hurricane Damage Mitigation Program later renamed the My Safe Florida Home Program. Ron was a sub-contractor for Applied Research Associates & Skyetec two Wind Certification Entities (WCE’s) approved by the State of Florida to conduct the inspections. Having completed thousands of inspections during that period, Ron brings a vast knowledge base in Wind Mitigation inspections and techniques.
